Glow-n-Games and Memorial Vigil Part of GJ Police Week 2017

The Grand Junction Police Department is inviting residents to join them for Glow-n-Games, a Memorial Vigil, and Touch a Truck event in honor of Police Week 2017.

Glow-N-Games will be at Long Family Memorial Park on Friday (May 19).

Residents are invited to come early for activities beginning at 5:30 p.m. including a CrossFit Challenge and Fire Truck Pull Team Challenge.

Families will be able to meet and visit with local first responders and have some fun with the 'Touch a Truck' activities.

You can bring a picnic meal or purchase food and sweets from food trucks that will be at the park.

There will be a Memorial Vigil starting at 7:30 p.m.

Following the vigil will be a 5k run/walk to raise money for Special Olympics.
