Grand Junction’s Homeless Pets of the Week: Is One Right For You?
If you are thinking about adding a pet to your household, take a look at today's pets of the week from Roice-Hurst Humane Society.
Today's featured pets range from younger to older, but the one thing they have in common is they need some love and a forever home.
Foxy Is Still Looking and Waiting
You might remember Foxy from last week. She's still waiting for someone to come and love her up. Foxy is 11-years-old, and we're told she's every bit as sweet as she looks. She likes yummy treats and gentle walks, and probably should be the only pet in the home. I think she looks absolutely adorable, and I really hope she can find her new home this week.

Puppy Love For Nola
Nola is a 1-year-old lab mix with lots of puppy energy. She would be good with a family that is on the go and likes the outdoors. Nola would probably be fine with another pet in the house, but an introduction would be required. Give her some love, teach her some basic manners, and you have a great companion.
Meet Aurora
Aurora is a beautiful cat and a bit of a loner. He has lived with other dogs and cats but would probably prefer to be the center of your world. You can meet Aurora by stopping by J & M Aquatics on North Avenue during regular business hours.
If you are interested in adopting a pet, contact Roice-Hurst for more information about the adoption process - and then enjoy your new best friend. The selection of available pets is always changing - so keep looking until you find your mate.
