Grand Junction Fire Sation #2 Now in Temporary Locaction

The Grand Junction Fire department has temporarily moved fire station #2 from 2827 Patterson to a location right across the street at 2854 Patterson. The station is currently in the process of being remodeled as the last phase of the Public Safety Project. The project included the new police station and 911 center, a remodel of fire station #1, and a remodel of the old police station into fire administration.

The project should be done sometime in July, so in the mean time fire station #2 will be housed at 2854 Patterson. When you are driving in the area keep this in mind as there are not any lights to warn you when the trucks go into action. Drive safe.
