What will the "regular" business hours be?

City Hall at 250 N. 5th Street in Grand Junction has been open during certain days and hours. Since March 8, 2021, they've been open to the public Monday, Wednesday, and Fiday.

Starting Monday, March 22, City Hall will be open Monday through Friday. The website didn't specify their normal operating hours, so a call was placed. According to the rep at City Hall, normal hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

What if you don't want to make the trip into town?

According to gjcity.org, you don't necessarily have to make the drive to downtown Grand Junction. The site reminds you "...most City business can be completed at gjcity.org or over the phone."

Which community services will not resume on Monday?

City Council meetings will continue to be held "virtually" for the time being. The Visitors Center will also remain closed.

Things are changing.

Look at all of the changes coming up over the next week. Starting Saturday, March 20, the dining areas at Grand Junction Burger Kings will reopen (the restaurants themselves have been open all along, but the dining areas have been closed). Now, City Hall is reopening to the public on a regular schedule.
