Are you looking to attend a Grand Junction area church service, but find it difficult to participate in person? Here's a lengthy list of Grand Junction area churches who stream their services live on the Internet.

Earlier this year many Grand Valley residents found themselves unable to attend church services due to the COVID-19 quarantine. Even now, churches have to observe limits on the number of people attending services in person. Even before the outbreak, many people found it difficult or impossible to physically attend services.

I posted about the live streams some time ago. Today, it seemed wise to revisit the topic. This morning I performed with a small orchestra at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grand Junction. It's obvious many are concerned about being in a closed environment with a large number of people.

There's no need to lose touch with your church's services because of the mandated social distancing. Some churches, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, for example, stream most, if not all, of their services.

St. Joseph's masses being streamed for live viewing include:

  • Daily Masses at 7:00 am Monday through Friday
  • Spanish Masses, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 6:00 pm
  • Saturday at 4:30 pm
  • Sunday at 7:30 am, 9:30 am and 11:30 am

If you're like me, one of the great joys of these services would be the music. In the case of St. Joseph's, services now feature a reduced orchestra, usually featuring a single vocalist as opposed to the traditional choir.

Fellowship Church in Grand Junction is offering live streaming. Their Facebook page states:

Even when the doors cannot be opened, the church is not closed." - Fellowship Church

Please share this info. Many residents are unaware of the online viewing option. In St. Joseph's case, the ability to watch services via Facebook existed for some time. These services can be viewed live from around the world.
