It's always tough to hear this type of news, especially when it's happening in our own community. But we are finding out that there is a Grand Junction business that is really going through a lot right now. The pandemic was one obstacle that no one could have predicted, but now, another unexpected blow took place as their generator was stolen after their business was shut down for the night.

If you live in Grand Junction and enjoy a sweet treat you've probably heard of Sugar & Ice Co. they serve coffee drinks, frozen yogurt, ice cream, sandwiches, shaved ice, and lots of other delicious items. Their store location is at 950 North Avenue in Grand Junction Suite #104, but that isn't where the theft took place. They had another location set up known as "The Shack" that was serving customers at Lowe's Home Improvement store and that is where the generator went missing.

How Can You Help Sugar & Ice Co. Recover from This Generator Theft?

The first thing you can do to help out is something we should all be doing right now and that is supporting local/small businesses as much as possible. The pandemic hurt these businesses enough, we need to help out when we can. And specifically, help out Sugar & Ice Co. in Grand Junction. Instead of your normal coffee shop stop in and try Sugar & Ice Co. and let them know they are supported as they bounce back from this awful situation.

There is a Fundraiser Already in the Works

Because of the owners of Sugar & Ice Co. being so giving to our community, it didn't take long until multiple people suggested starting a fundraiser to get them a new generator. I've spoken with Tiffany Lancaster who is setting everything up. If you want to know more you can click here.
