Vandals Deface Downtown Grand Junction With Graffiti
Graffiti is not the kind of holiday decorating downtown merchants wanted, but vandals gave it to them anyway and it wasn't even close to artistic or holiday themed.
Sometime between 4:30 p.m. on December 4 and 7 a.m. on December 5, vandals armed with spray paint left their mark at several locations downtown including Two Rivers Convention Center, Fairfield Inn, Hampton Inn, and even a parked vehicle.
Some of the spray painted messages were 'One King', 'F.T.L. Crew', 'Sleepy', Coke Eight Ball', 'Travieso', and expletives. The damage is estimated to be over $2,000.
If you know anything about the vandalism or the people involved in it, contact Crime Stoppers of Mesa County anonymously with that information. Call 970-241-7867 or visit the Crime Stoppers website to make a report.
