There may be some good news for 2020 after all. It appears all three of the new In-N-Out Burger locations in Colorado will open on-schedule before the year's end.

I know, we've been harping on this for a year. Looking back on the last nine months, though, it seems wise to pounce on any good news you can get. In this case, In-N-Out Burger aficionados can save a little wear-and-tear on their cars and get their fix closer to home.

According to 9News, lucky Coloradans are only a month away from the opening of three new stores.

The three new Colorado locations include:

  • Colorado Springs
  • Aurora
  • Lone Tree

We are still on track to open our first three Colorado restaurants by the end of the year, and of course our distribution center will need to be operational by that time to support these locations." - Denny Warnick, In-N-Out Burger Vice President of Operations

The distribution facility mentioned above is a 97,900-square-foot structure in Colorado Springs. As stated, it will need to be operational by year's end as well.

As I've mentioned before, when it comes to In-N-Out Burger, you'll notice the term "franchise" does not appear anywhere. In-N-Out Burger is, in fact, not a franchise. It's a family-owned business. According to a CBS interview, it is unlikely the chain will ever go public or offer franchise opportunities.

The only reason we would do that is for the money, and I wouldn’t do that. My heart is totally connected to this company because of my family, and the fact that they are not here – I have a strong tie to keep this the way they would want it.” – In-N-Out president Lynsi Snyder

My first experience with In-N-Out Burger was with the Las Vegas Location just off Dean Martin Drive. I had been hearing about the place for years, but never understood what all the fuss was about.

The burgers and fries are excellent. What impressed me most, though, was the efficiency of the restaurant. Talk about a well-oiled machine. Wow.

By my count, there are only 46 days left in the year. I'm delighted to see some good news will fall during that period. I know, it's a ton of fuss over a fast food joint. Nevertheless, it's something to look forward to.
