Grand Junction Fire Department Rescues Family of Ducks

Thanks to the Grand Junction Fire Department's Truck 3, one Grand Junction family was rescued from a storm drain yesterday.

A local business called in the brave men from the GJFD to rescue a family of ducks that were trapped in a drainage pipe.

The family of six were safely pulled from the pipe and released back to their natural home.

Hopefully, the momma duck has a nice little chat with her ducklings and keeps them flying straight from now on.
