Free tickets are now available for the  United States Air Force Academy Band Concert in Grand Junction on February 15.

The  65-piece concert band will be on tour and making stops in western Colorado, showcasing the finest musicians at the Air Force Academy. Participation in the band is based on an audition-only process, which means it is comprised of the academy's finest musicians.

The concert program will feature classical pieces as well as familiar show tunes.

The free performance in Grand Junction will be on Wednesday, February 15, 7PM at the Avalon Theatre. While there is no admission charge, tickets are required because of limited seating. Non-ticket holders will have a chance to be seated at 6:45 if seats are available.

Tickets for the Grand Junction show can be picked up at the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra office at 414 Main Street.

The band will perform at the Montrose Pavillion on February 16 at 7PM. Free tickets are available at the Montrose Daily Press.
