The 8th Annual Energy Forum and Expo scheduled for Friday (Feb 22) is an opportunity for people in western Colorado to learn more about our energy resources and how they are important to the area's economy.The free event featuring over 60 exhibitors is large enough take up almost all of the space at Two Rivers Convention Center. The exhibits showcase almost every aspect of the energy industry.

In addition to the exhibits, there are several forums throughout the day with speakers discussing oil shale, natural gas, energy policy and energy specific to Colorado.  The keynote speaker, Robert Bryce, will host a seminar titled, 'Two Energy Imperatives: Scale and Density' at 1:15 p.m. Bryce is the author of the book, 'Power Hungry: The Myths of Green Energy and the Real Fuels of America'.

The Expo is open 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. with Forums 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
