The window of opportunity and success for many rock and roll bands is often times very small. There is no guarantee of another hit record, no promise of tomorrow. Consequently, bands who make the most of that short opportunity have the most staying power, long after they have stopped making hits. Colorado's  home grown Firefall is such a band.

Firefall's biggest hit came early in their career when You Are the Woman reached #9 on the charts in 1976. The following year Just Remember I Love You got to #11, and in 1978 Strange Way reached #11. There were other chart hits like Cinderella, Headed For A Fall, and Staying With It, but none came close to the success of those early hits.

Like all other rock and roll bands, despite many line up changes, Firefall has continued to perform and draw crowds of people who cherish those sounds and memories of the 1970s. Jock Bartley is the only original member still with the band, but the music that was created all those years ago still remains essentially the same. Firefall fans can relive memories that were created with the band's music - some happy, and no doubt some sad.

Firefall performs their hits  June 16th at Hudson Gardens in Littleton as part of the Summer Concert Series. KOOL 107.9 is giving away tickets to the Firefall concert, as well as all of the concerts in the series. You can enter to win at kool1079.com.
