If you're familiar with the Jan and Dean Song 'Little Old Lady From Pasadena,' then you'll know why the term 'Go Granny Go' is what a Colorado woman did when she zoomed into Wyoming and led police on a wild chase.

According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, a 76-year-old woman driving a Volkswagen was clocked driving 96 mph in an 80 mph zone on I-25 when Wyoming law enforcement attempted to pull her over to issue a speeding ticket.

Rather than stop, the woman led police on a high speed chase driving over 100 mph and exiting I-25 onto I-90 near Buffalo, Wyoming to escape. The chase ended when Wyoming Patrol Officers were able to get the car stopped after it ran over spike strips they had placed on the interstate.

From the Jan and Dean song, 'Little Old Lady From Pasadena,'

If you see her on the strip, don't try to choose her,
(Go Granny, go, Granny, go, Granny, go)
You might have a go-er, but you'll never lose her;
(Go Granny, go, Granny, go, Granny, go)
She's gonna get a ticket now, sooner or later,
'Cause she can't keep her foot off the accelerator.
And ev'rybody's sayin' that there's nobody meaner than
The Little Old Lady From Pasadena.
She drives real fast and she drives real hard,
She's the terror of Colorado Boulevard.
