Downtown Car Show is a Great Fall Event

The Fuoco Motor Company Downtown Car Show is one of the best things about the end of summer and the beginning of fall. We are sad to see summer go, but with so many great fall events like the car show, Fruita Fall Festival, and Oktoberfest we definitely have some fun events to look forward to.This is the 12th year for the downtown car show, and the 12th year that KOOL 107.9 has sponsored the event. We will be broadcasting live from downtown Grand Junction Saturday morning, and we are going to be looking at all of the entries very carefully.  Ed Chandler and I will be selecting the KOOLest Car in the Showm so if  you see a particularly cool car, stop by our booth Saturday and let us know.

One of the cool things about this car show is that  you can vote for your favorite in the People's Choice Award. You can pick up a ballot Saturday morning when you are downtown.

Downtown Grand Junction is a beautiful place to be with all of the landscaping and art on the corner, and makes a great back drop for this car show. People that come down for the show really seem to enjoy themselves walking up and down Main Street, and stopping in a store here and there while checking out all of the cool cars.

The car show runs 9am-3pm with the awards presentation at 2:45pm. Admission is free! If you want to enter your classic car, you can get info on the downtown Grand Junction website.
