Do you remember Jimmy Osmond's top 40 hit 'Long-Haired Lover From LIverpool?' We take the long look back - 42 years ago - as Jimmy celebrates his 51st birthday today (April 16).

Jimmy is the youngest of the famous Osmonds, flourishing somewhat quietly in the shadows of his more famous siblings Donny and Marie.

Jimmy Osmond did not have a successful recording career, but as a nine-year-old he did manage a top 40 hit, 'Long-Haired Lover from Liverpool.' The song peaked at #38 in 1972 on the Billboard Chart.

I'm not sure if I should be proud of this - or embarrassed - but I actually owned the 45 record when I was a kid. I LOVED that song, and I'm not sure why, but I did. It's a catchy tune, but I think that I related to Jimmy because he was my age.
