Dinosaurs + Candy + Cider Is Great Halloween Fun at Monster Mash
What do you get when you mix a bunch of cool dinosaurs with candy treats and yummy cider? It's time for the annual Monster Mash at Dinosaur Journey in Fruita.
October 31 falls on a Monday this year, which means some Halloween events, like Grand Junction's Downtown Spooktacular, are taking place on Saturday.
For Halloween traditionalists who prefer to do their candy gathering ON Halloween, Fruita's Trick or Treat Street, and the Monster Mash will take place on October 31.
Trick or Treat Street runs from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Monster Mash goes from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m. That means, little ghosts, goblins, and superheroes can get their trick or treating done well before dark and still make it to bed on time to be ready for school on Tuesday.
Monster Mash is a free trick-or-treat stop that features free admission to the dinosaur museum, and on the way out, kids are treated to candy, cider, and punch. Plus, we hope to have some dinosaur mascots on hand to pose with kids for photos, so be sure and bring your phone!
As always, Ed Chandler and I will be there to welcome trick-or-treaters, do a live broadcast, and have some great fun with Dr. Julia and the dinosaurs. Come on out for some fun, free, and safe Halloween fun!
