A new business is moving in on Rimrock Drive in Grand Junction, right across from Walmart. Who's moving in?

Please make welcome Crumbl Cookies. They are opening a new location at 2546 Rimrock Avenue in Grand Junction. The new store will be located in the unit next to Papa Murphy's pizza and Great Clips.

Until last Saturday, I had never heard of this company. Obviously, they sell cookies. What exactly is their business model? According to their Facebook page, their product is, "Huge, warm, melt in your mouth, delicious chocolate chip cookies delivered straight to your home."

It seems this store offers a "rotating" menu of cookies. Of course, you always have your fundamentals, chocolate chip, for example. In addition to those, Crumbl offers a weekly selection of flavors. The selections for the week of March 29 through April 4 include:

• Caramel Popcorn (this is a cookie)
• Hazelnut Churro
• Buckeye Brownie
• Chilled Coconut Lime
• Chilled Sugar (Cadbury Mini Eggs)
• Green M&M

Cookies from Crumbl will be available in-store, for delivery, shipping, or for catering.

The first Crumbl opened three years ago in Logan, Utah. Since then it has expanded to 50 locations across 11 states. Not bad for three years. Looking at their map, it appears their Thornton location is the closest to western Colorado.

It seems the company has picked up a few awards over the years. Among them would be:

I contacted the company to ask about an opening date. At this time, no date has been set. They will, however, keep me posted.
