10 Things You Need to Know About Colorado’s No-Call Law
There are few things more irritating than those annoying telemarking phone calls. Thankfully, Colorado has a no-call list program, but there are some things you need to know.
Not All Telemarketing Calls Are Bad
First of all, let me say not all telemarketing calls are bad - it just feels that way. But, the ugly truth of the matter is these calls generally are annoying and irritating and I think there are two reasons for this. One reason we hate these calls is because they interrupt whatever we are doing at that moment. The other reason is because if we answer the call we are forced to make a quick judgment on whether the call is legitimate or a scam, and then come up with a kind and polite way to say no.

Things Are Better Than They Used to Bet
The advent of cell phones has helped in dealing with unsolicited phone calls because we have a greater ability to screen the calls and make a decision on whether or not to accept the call. Remember what it was like before we had caller I.D. capabilities? You had no idea who was calling, only to discover it was some poor soul trying to make a living selling insurance, siding, windows, magazine subscriptions, or soliciting donations for a particular cause.
Nowadays, we have a number of tools at our disposal to help minimize the inconvenience of telemarketing calls and the threat of fraudulent telephone scams. Unfortunately, eliminating these aggravating interruptions is all but impossible.
