Take a Look at 12 of Colorado’s Best and Most ‘Unique’ Airbnb’s
Are you searching for the perfect getaway in Colorado? How about something unique? These are among the best and most unique Airbnbs in the state.
Territory Supply recently released a video tour of the "12 Best & Most Unique Colorado Airbnbs." Take a look.
Colorado's Most Unique Airbnbs
First of all, let's define what makes something unique. According to Merriam-Webster:
- used to say that something or someone is unlike anything or anyone else
- very special or unusual
The Airbnbs on this list certainly conforms to those definitions. These are definitely unlike anything else. Two of the dwellings on the list feature homes built into the side of a rock face. Others make extraordinary use of finite space.
One of Airbnb's Most Unique Stays is in Palisade Colorado
Airbnb.com put together their own list of "Most Unique Airbnb Stays in Colorado." By my count, two of the homes making their list also appear on the video from Territory Supply. On a side note, one of the units featured on the Airbnb.com list can be found in Palisade!
On that note, what exactly is an Airbnb? I heard the term for years before I fully understood it. I had assumed an Airbnb was simply a home or dwelling available for short or long-term rent.
In actuality, according to Wikipedia, Airbnb is "...an American company that operates an online marketplace for lodging, primarily homestays for vacation rentals, and tourism activities."
An Airbnb is located right next to one of my properties in Grand Junction. This particular Airbnb is nice, but I wouldn't call it unique. I believe you'll agree with the units featured on this list most definitely qualify as extraordinary.
