Celebrity Birthday: Top 20 Kevin Bacon Movies As He Turns 55

Actor Kevin Bacon turns 55 today,(July 8) and it's hard to believe it's been 35 years since he was getting his start in movies as Chip Diller in Animal House. A couple of years later he was getting shish-k-bob'd by Jason in Friday the 13th. Four years later Bacon had his break out moment as Ren McCormack in Footloose, and suddenly everyone knew who Kevin Bacon was.

My all-time favorite Kevin Bacon movie was The River Wild with Meryl Streep. Bacon plays a  great bad  guy.

You have to love him as Jack Swigert in Apollo 13,  and Captain Jack Ross in A Few Good Men.

Though not critically acclaimed, I have to admit I enjoyed Tremors.
