Wineries You Must Visit in Grand Junction + Palisade
One of the things that Grand Junction (Palisade) has always been very popular for is our Western Colorado Wine. With a selection to match anything Napa Valley has to offer, including the beautiful scenery to drink it in. I myself have just recently fallen in love with our local wines, and local Grand Junction Wineries.
St Kathryn Cellars
St Kathryn Cellars is located at 785 Elberta Ave, Palisade, CO 81526. You could read the raving reviews online, or I can just fill you in on why we love St Kat's so much. St Kathryn's is most known for their lavender wine. It's infused with locally grown lavender, giving it a perfect taste and feel. They also offer bagged wine, which locals love because they aren't having to pay for the bottle itself.
Red Fox Winery
Red Fox Winery is located at 695 36 Road, Unit C, Palisade, Colorado 81526. Red Fox specializes in wines, ciders, and fruit wines. These guys are one of the newest kids on the playground, with a great atmosphere to hang out while you drink. Their Bourbon Barrel Merlot spends time in bourbon barrels from the local distillery.
Two Rivers Winery
Two Rivers Winery has one of the most beautiful tasting rooms and event rooms in Grand Junction. They are most known for their Two Rivers Merlot, which can match the taste of any Napa Valley Winery. Two Rivers is located in the Redlands, just off of Broadway.
Maison la Belle Vie Winery
Maison la Belle Vie Winery is located off of G Road in Palisade. Their Vin de Peche is the perfect Palisade dessert. A local favorite to sip on some wine and enjoy their scrumptious Charcuterie board. Their Merlot is also incredibly sweet and soft on the tongue.
Hermosa Vineyards
Hermosa Vineyards is located at 3269 3/4 C Rd, Palisade, CO 81526. They have a friendly staff, happy to help you learn to pronounce Gewurztraminer. The Gewurztraminer is one of their more popular selections, along with their Reisling, and Cab Franc Rose.
If you simply cannot decide, then contact JR's Carriage Service, and take a wine tour so you can try them all!
