The Spring edition of the World's Greatest Yard Sale is Saturday at the Mesa County Fairgrounds. Here are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions that you might be wondering about. And if not I'm providing the answers anyway.

What time does it start? The World's Greatest Yard Sale runs from  9am-3pm

How much does it cost to get in? The admission price is $5, with kids 10 under FREE.  A portion of the proceeds benefit the Boy Scouts. It's sure a lot cheaper than driving all over town trying to track down a handful of hit-and-miss garage sales.

How much does it cost to park? Parking is FREE and there is plenty of parking available. Valet service is not provided, although if you pay me enough I'll be more than happy to park your car for you.Handi- capped parking is available for properly identified vehicles, as space allows.

Exactly how great is the World's Greatest Yard Sale? Well, we stopped counting once we got over 300 booth spaces sold, so we know there's over 300 booths. That's pretty great.

Can I have breakfast or lunch out there? Of course! There will be several food vendors out there serving up some yummy treats, snacks, meals, and cool, refreshing beverages. Heck, it's worth coming out just for the grub.

My dog loves to shop. Is it okay to bring Fido? Unfortunately, Fido needs to stay home in the interest of the safety of yard salers, and to avoid the problem of doggie droppings where people are walking. By the way, please don't bring Fido and leave him in the car. Security officers will be checking the parking lot for cooped up canines.

What kinds of stuff will I find at the World's Greatest Yard Sale? Well, you never know for sure but typically there is a good selecting of sporting equipment, fishing gear, tools, antiques, sports paraphernalia, clothes, furniture, movies, CD's, records, baby items, electronics, small kitchen appliances, dishes, jewelry, games, and a ton of other things I can't think of.

What if it rains? Put up your umbrella. We won't let a little precipitation spoil our fun.

So there you go - everything you wanted to know about the World's Greatest Yard Sale - and probably a little bit less. Come on out and shop a while before you go to Mike the Headless Chicken Days  in Fruita.
