October is finally here, and we’re at that time where the evenings finally feel like football season.

This weekend’s schedule for Colorado high school football begins a day early, with some schools having games on Thursday evening.

Tonight’s (Thursday’s) action begins when the Central Warriors host the Rifle Bears at Stocker Stadium. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.

On Friday, a football doubleheader is scheduled for Stocker Stadium, starting with Palisade hosting Steamboat Springs at 3:00 p.m. The second half has Thunder Ridge coming to town to take on Fruita Monument at 7:00 p.m. Both Friday games will be broadcast on ESPN Radio 1230.
