JUCO World Series 2013: Schedule, Scores + Bracket
The 2013 JUCO World Series will kick off on Saturday May 25th at Suplizio Field in Grand Junction, Colorado. We have a few new teams to the JUCO World Series and a few teams returning like Connors St. and the 2011 Champs Navarro Texas. All games are scheduled in MDT.
Hwy 50 Closed for 1 to 2 days Due to Gas Tanker Rollover/Burning
I spoke to a representative of Colorado State Patrol at 7:40 this morning and was informed that a gas tanker rolled at approximately 12:30 am on Hwy 50.

For the past 18 seasons Pierre Lacroix has been in the front office of the Colorado Avalanche. In that time He made deals to bring Patrick Roy, Rob Blake and Ray Bourque to the Avalanche and two Stanley Cup titles, not a bad run. On Friday Lacroix stepped down as president of the team and will hand the keys to a couple of familiar faces, but he will stay on as an advisor.

Rio Grande Trail: A Trail I’ve Always Wanted To Ride, But Maybe I’ll Wait
4 weeks ago I've encountered a lot of animals while bicycling along some of my favorite trails around western Colorado. The most common being rabbits, chipmunks or prairie dogs. If I encountered this enormous bear, which was photographed along the Rio Grande Trail between Aspen and Glenwood Springs, I'm not sure if I would watch in awe or pedal away as fast as my legs would go.
