If you haven't yet purchased your Christmas tree, I know of a few kids who can help you.

Boy Scout troop 328, the Western Slope's oldest Boy Scout troop still has trees left to sell and you can help them out while they help you out.

The troop, with 20 fine young men involved in it have one fundraiser each year and it's selling Christmas trees. They currently have 50 trees left on their lot, located in the parking lot of the American Furniture Warehouse location at 2570 American Way in Grand Junction.

Starting out with 288 trees from Dutchman Farms in Michigan, the scouts learn about customer service, leadership, organizational skills, and work ethic while at the same time bringing joy to those looking for that perfect tree while at the same time helping an amazing group of young men raise funds for their troop.

The tree lot is open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.

If you have yet to get your tree or know someone who still hasn't, you have a friend in the Christmas tree business. Boy Scout troop 328.
