Ready or not the holiday season is upon us, and we're offering the best holiday events in Grand Junction and the surrounding areas to help get you in the holiday spirit. There's no way one person can do all of them, but if  you can make it to some of these you'll for sure walk away whistling 'Holly Jolly Christmas.'

NOVEMBER 15 - Downtown Tree Lighting at 4th and Main in Grand Junction. Live entertainment with The Tonettes begins at 5:00, and Santa arrives to light the tree at 5:45 and then visits with the children.

DECEMBER 6 - Palisade Olde Fashioned Christmas and Parade of Lights plus soup and chili challenges, Christmas Boutique, Guided Historic Walking Tours and more.

DECEMBER 6 - Delta Parade of Lights begins at 6pm along Main Street. The theme is "Miracle on Main Street."

DECEMBER 7 - Winter Festival in Downtown Grand Junction.The 30th annual Winter Festival occurs the first Saturday in December on the sidewalks of Main Street between 3rd and 7th Streets. Non-profit organizations sell holiday goodies from 11am until the start of the annual Parade of Lights at 5pm.

DECEMBER 7 - Parade of Lights in Downtown Grand Junction starts at 5:00 with over 100 lighted entries parading from 9th Street to 1st Street.

DECEMBER 7 - Montrose Christmas Parade begins at 6pm running from Honolulu Avenue and Rosemont Avenue east to Verdugo Road.

DECEMBER 9 - Colorado Mesa Holiday Concert  begins 3:00pm at Robinson Theatre. Tickets are available now.

DECEMBER 14 - Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair hosted by Fruita Arts and Crafts Board at the Fruita Rec Center from 8am - 2pm.

DECEMBER 14- Fruita Hometown Christmas and Parade of Lights beginning at 5:30.
