Every summer Savannah and I are lucky enough to have our nephew Colby come visit us for a week. This kid, excuse me, young adult is a better human being than I am. He has a great head on his shoulders and there is no doubt that he will be successful in life. He is just one of those kids. But every year before he arrives I always try to come up with fun stuff to do and this year I need your help.

As I was mentioning to a co-worker, I don't know what teenagers are doing or what they are into. Which is probably a good thing I am in my mid-thirties, I shouldn't know what teenagers are doing. But this is where I need your help because Colby still thinks of me as "The Cool Uncle" and I am not about to lose that title.

Some things are a necessity like driving through the monument but that doesn't take very long. One idea I had was to rent some offroad vehicles for the day, which I think we will probably make happen at some point. I thought the Imondi Wake Zone in Fruita would be fun for a few hours, but he is here for an entire week so I need lots of suggestions. But what other ideas do you have for me?

Colby is the teenager who isn't going to tell you what he wants to do, he is good with anything. But I want to make his first trip to Colorado fun and enjoyable. If you have any suggestions drop them in the comments or feel free to email me at billy.jenkins@townsquaremedia.com
