University of Colorado’s ‘Ralphie’ Is An ‘All-Time Great’
The University of Colorado mascot makes Sports Illustrated 'All-Time Greatest' list.
Football season is right around the corner. I'm sorry, I don't count the NFL preseason and neither should you. It's only meaningful to players trying to make their respective teams. 2019 is a special football season. The NFL is celebrating at's 100th anniversary and college football is celebrating it's 150th.
In honor of college football's 150th season, SI has ranked "The Top 10 All-Time Greatest Mascots." The University of Georgia-Bulldog is #1. "Ralphie the Buffalo" comes in at #6. Did you know that Ralphie is always a female buffalo? Sports Illustrated's Top 10 is as follows:

- University of Oregon- Duck
- LSU- Mike the Tiger
- University of Texas- Bevo the longhorn bull
- Standford- Tree
