Two Men Passing Counterfeit Money is Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week

Two men who are spending fake money is this week's Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week.

On Monday, February 2, two men paid for their purchase with a counterfeit $50 bill at the 24 Road Stop N Save location. Surveillance photos show the two men who used the counterfeit bill.

This is one of many recent reports the Grand Junction Police Department has received of counterfeit money being passed at area businesses.

If you recognize either one or both of these men, you are asked to call Mesa County Crime Stoppers at 241-7867. All information given to Crime Stoppers is completely anonymous and can earn you up to a $1,000 reward.
