Teen Arrested for Manslaughter for Teen’s Death in Clifton

Authorities have arrested a 15-year-old boy in the case of Brandon Crawford, also 15 years old, who was killed in Clifton on Sunday (November 16).

15-year-old London C. Sarti was booked into the Grand Mesa Youth Dentetion Facility on one charge of manslaughter. Sarti will also be charged with two additional misdemeanor charges.

The arrest affidavit states several friends had been hanging out at a female's house in Clifton with out the consent of her father. Brandon Crawford and London C. Satri were among those friends.

The female told the Mesa County Sheriff's Office that Satri brought the gun to her house to show it off. She also told authorities that Crawford and Satri had been drinking and smoking marijuana that day.

Satri told police that he was unloading the gun -- a small revolver -- when it went off and shot Crawford in the chest.
