Important Update Coming on 23-year-old ‘Baby Faith’ Cold Case
The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office announced will provide an "important update" to one of Northern Colorado's most disturbing cold cases on Tuesday.
A 2 p.m. press conference will be held for the "Baby Faith" case that shook the Fort Collins community 23 years ago.
"Baby Faith" had been found by two Fort Collins boys on Aug. 24, 1996. The unidentified newborn girl was found floating in a plastic bag in the north end of Horsetooth Reservoir.
Authorities had determined the girl had been born alive on Aug. 22, 1996, and classified the case a homicide. Neither the baby or the mother had ever been previously identified.
A special funeral was held for "Baby Faith" who is buried at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Collins.
