Snake

2020 really was a "wild" year.

An Arapahoe family called the Sheriff when they woke up and discovered a 4-foot snake in their home.

In a strange twist of fate, a Kentucky Pastor and star of the National Geographic show 'Snake Salvation' died of a snakebite. Pastor Jamie Coots died after being bitten by a poisonous snake he was handling and refusing medical treatment for the bite.

The best things in life aren't always free. A Michigan woman found that picking up a free sofa off the street wasn't such a good idea after a large snake came slithering out of it.

The phrase "leapin' lizards,"  from Little Orphan Annie is used by some to describe something unexpected or exciting. In this case, both the exclamation and the literal use of the words are the same.
