Surfing in Colorado? Yeah, That’s a Thing Now
I guess this is why you never say 'never.' According to The Denver Channel, a 'surfing park' has been in the works for four years on the South Platte River, and it will open soon.
This Denver surf park will feature six waves for riders on a half-mile stretch of river. This begs the question, will this bring even more California transplants to our land-locked state now that we kind of have like, everything?
Jokes aside, this is pretty cool. And, it's a public free-to-use park, like a skate park (which is, as surfers would say, totally rad). Man, I would suck at this.
