Superhero Breakfast for CASA Moves to CMU
The annual Superhero Breakfast for CASA is coming up and it's moving to Colorado Mesa University.
The Superhero Breakfast is a great way to learn about Court Appointed Special Advocates and the children in Mesa County it serves. CASA employs volunteers who advocate for abused children in the foster care system.
The guest speaker for this event is Collin Miller, who was just six years old when he was placed in his first foster home and experienced a CASA advocate through 13 foster placements.
There is no charge for the breakfast on February 9, but you need to pre-register so they know you are coming. The event has moved to CMU in order to accommodate more people, but space is limited, so you'll want to get pre-registered as early as possible.
