Retired Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is one of six people who will be inducted into the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.

Manning joined the Denver Broncos in 2012 and retired after they won the Super Bowl in 2016.

Another inductee is Tracy Hill, who while attending Ridgway High School (1980-83) set a Colorado girls basketball record scoring 2,934 career points. Hill was inducted into the Colorado High School Activities Hall of Fame in 1993 and the National High School Hall of Fame in 2012.

Others being inducted in 2018:

  • Rashaan Salaam, University of Colorado running back. He played four season in the NFL starting with the Chicago Bears in 1995. Salaam died in 2016.
  • Joe Glenn, former Northern Colorado football coach. He spent 11 seasons coaching the Bears to two Division II championships.
  • Sam Pagano, Fairview High School football coach. In his 26 years coaching at the school, Pagano's teams won three state titles.
  • Alex Burl, Colorado State football and track star. His college career from 1951-54 was followed by one season in the NFL playing for the Chicago Cardinals. Burl was the first black player from a Colorado school to play in the league. Burl died in 2009.
