Grand Junction Police Looking for Designer Eyeglass Burglars
Some people who thought they needed several pairs of designer eyeglasses did some after-hours shopping at the Grand Junction Pearle Vision using a five-finger discount.
The Grand Junction Police Department is now searching for these people to remind them their 'after hours discount' shopping is burglary and arrest them for felony theft.
The burglary happened on Wednesday, October 4 just after 11:30 p.m. at Pearle Vision, 611 24 Road in Grand Junction.
The burglars broke in through the store's front doors and stole a large number of Ray-Ban, Versace, and Coach designer eyeglasses, sunglasses, and a Surface Pro computer. The total value for the glasses and computer that was stolen is over $34,000.
Information reported through Crime Stoppers is anonymous and can earn the person providing the information a cash reward of up to $1,000 if it leads to an arrest.
