New Retail Store Coming To Grand Junction

Big 5 is coming to the Grand Junction and they're hiring!

The sporting goods store retailer is opening a new location soon. The new Big 5 store will be in the same strip mall as Planet Fitness at 2400 North Avenue. Their next closest store is in Montrose at 2201 South Townsend Avenue. The chain sells outdoor clothing, footwear, fishing and hunting gear, sports equipment, and more.

Of course, the new store will need people. The sign on the front says "now accepting applications.” They will be looking to hire everyone from store management sales associates, cashiers, and more.  You can find out more on starting your Big 5 career by clicking HERE.

The store's addition is excepted to make a positive impact on the local community. Even other local outdoor stores are welcoming the new addition. Most say Big 5's sports equipment offerings are different. Much like the Sports Authority store that closed not long ago.
