You can call it cornhole, beanbags, bag toss I've heard it said many different ways but if you're accurate with your throw and enjoy playing it might be time to see how good you really are. Our friends at Grand Junction Parks and recreation are putting together a cornhole league that is set to begin next Monday (September 7th, 2020) from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Canyon View Park in Grand Junction.

The league is for anyone who wants to play in a more competitive atmosphere while still having fun. Each team needs to be two people and the league will run a total of 6 weeks and will be located on the softball fields at Canyon View Park which is located at 730 24 Rd in Grand Junction.

There will be three divisions being offered to those who want to participate and they are:

  • Adult Corn Hole League which will play on Tuesday's
  • Middle School League which will play on Wednesday's
  • High School League which will also play on Wednesday's

The fee for each team will be $40 and if you want to get registered now click here.

If you've been looking for an activity to get you out of the house, this is a perfect opportunity to have something to look forward to each week. After speaking with Jennifer at Grand Junction Parks and Recreation they are asking participants to bring a mask when you're coming down to play in the cornhole league.

If you've always been good when playing against your buddies, now is the time to see how good you really are.
