National Western Stock Show Brings the World to Colorado
The National Western Stock Show is bringing the world to Colorado.
The annual event is being held January 6-21 at the Denver Coliseum.
Of course, the main staple of the National Western Stock Show is the rodeo performances which begin on January 6 with the Colorado vs The World Rodeo. Then there is a Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza and then PBR Bull Riding. After that, there will be rodeo performances daily leading up to the finals on January 21.
Other special events include dancing horses, Xtreme dogs, a Wild West show, and a Mule and Donkey Show.
I don't think you have to be a cowboy to enjoy the National Stock Show. Personally, I would love to attend several days of the show and I would if I lived closer to Denver.
Of course, it's not exactly cheap to take your family to an event like this, but they do have some packages available including one that gets you four tickets, four hot dogs, four bags of chip, and four sodas for $89. For a couple, you can get two tickets and two sodas for $39.
If you love seeing a good rodeo, the National Western Stock Show is the place to be.
