Mesa County Wins State Title With Restaurant’s ‘Tip-A-Cop’ Fundraiser

Law Enforcement agencies in Mesa County can now boast the title of state champs with the recent "Tip-A-Cop" fundraising campaign held at Red Robin.

The Mesa County team, consisting of the Grand Junction Police Department, the Mesa County Sheriff's Office, and the Colorado State Patrol, raised more than $5,050.00 for Special Olympics.

Statewide, Colorado's law enforcement agencies raised more than $63,000.00. This amount marks a $5,335.00 increase over the funds raised during the same event last year.
