
Denver Airport Sets New Passenger Records in 2025
Denver International Airport broke numerous records in 2024, and in 2025, the massive airport has done it again. According to a press release from Denver International Airport, 2025 was another record year for passengers traveling through the airport.
Records Set Month After Month at DEN
The busiest year in the airport's history saw new records set every single month of 2025 for international passenger traffic and a six-month record for total passenger traffic by month.

While the growth of travelers may seem small, with only a 0.1 percent increase, Denver International Airport saw a total of 82,429,962 passengers throughout 2025. Cargo volume increased the same percentage as passenger traffic, with an excess of 732 million tons, with cargo transported by all-cargo carriers increasing 0.9 percent for the year.

According to worldwide passenger traffic statistics from Airport Council International, Denver International Airport was the fourth busiest airport in the United States and the 10th busiest airport in the world from January through November 2025.
July Sets All-Time Records for Passengers
July was the busiest month ever for Denver International Airport as it was the first month to exceed 18 million passengers. Sunday, July 6, was the busiest day through Denver's TSA checkpoints with more than 97,500 passengers screened.
