Mountain Bikers Have a New Colorado Trail System to Explore
If you love mountain biking in Colorado, you need to take a look at this new trail that just opened up. When I was younger, I loved hitting the trails on my bike, going as fast as I could, hitting the jumps to feel like I was flying; there's nothing quite like it.
The days of being a daredevil on a bicycle are long over for me, but I still find it quite entertaining to watch videos of these exhilarating bike trails.
New Bike Trails Open at Blodgett Open Space
A new trail system has opened in a 384-acre open space. One of the perks of this new trail is that part of the trail system is directional bike-only trails, four miles of multi-use trails, and a half-mile regional trail. All of these features are in addition to the already existing system in the open space.
Blodgett Open Space seems like it would be the perfect destination for any mountain bike enthusiast. Located in Colorado Springs, it might be a bit of a drive; however, it looks like it would certainly be worth the journey to hit these trails. Especially the 2.5 miles of directional downhill, bike-only section for a nonstop thrill.
