If you haven't had the opportunity to work in a restaurant, you've missed a great life experience dealing with people who's tastes are almost all different.

Unlike many jobs, the bulk of your income lies solely in the hands of your customers having an enjoyable meal. At the same time, many things that happen with the food, good or bad, is completely out of your control.

Having worked in a restaurant when I was younger, I can tell you that, while a bit exaggerated, this is a sample what some - not all -  restaurant staff can think. If you have a problem with that, you may just want to eat at home.
