One of the single best memories I have growing up was playing football. We all play football with friends and neighbor kids but I'm talking about organized and structured football. Learning the game but so much more than that.

My parents let me start playing football at six years old, it was tackle football, and it was something that I am very thankful for. Those same kids that I played with at six years old were friends that I had throughout high school. I still stay connected with many of them through social media today.

The game taught me about being part of a team and how it takes a full team effort to see victory. As you can tell I am a big fan of kids playing sports, especially organized sports growing up. It taught me so many things that aren't taught in a classroom.

That's why I am excited to tell you that Grand Valley Youth Football sign-ups are coming up the next two Saturdays 7/18/2020 & 7/25/2020 at Mesa Mall next to Claire's from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

It costs $195 per player and participants must be 4th to 8th grade to be able to play in the upcoming Fall football season.

If you have any more questions you're encouraged to call or text 970-433-1311 or message the Grand Valley Youth Football Facebook page here.

Also, a big thank you to all the coaches that step up to help the kids learn this really fun game when they could be at home with their own families.
