Get your Lederhosen ready for Grand Junction's Oktoberfest in downtown Grand Junction on October 4.


The Grand Junction Oktoberfest will be downtown Grand Junction on Main Street between 3rd and 5th Streets.

This family-fun event will be taking over downtown Grand Junction on Saturday, October 4, from11 am to 8:30 pm.


This is a free family event. Just bring some Deutsche Mark -- money for us Americans -- to enjoy the great beers and food.

What's Going On

Grand Junction's Oktoberfest is filled with everything German, from authentic German food, German beer, the Oopsie Poopsy Wiener dog races, and great local vendors.

There are fun contests like nail pounding, beer mug holding, alphorn blowing and yodeling.

There's also a free street dance featuring German music by the band Alpine Echo!
