This Grand Junction couple met through a mutual friend and at first, they decided that they didn't want anything serious. After about a month, it got serious and they've been inseparable for the last 10 years.

When Cristine and Erik first started dating they went out on a lot of star gazing dates on the Colorado National Monument. So when Erik popped the question, he took Cristine to the Colorado National Monument to ask her. She had a feeling he was going to ask her. When she was telling him to come here and look over the edge, he wouldn't come and when she turned around he was down on one knee.

The Grand Junction couple moved to Parker, Colorado together and then came back to Grand Junction to go back to school together at Colorado Mesa University. Cristine and Erik graduated together, which was a huge moment for both of them. Cristine told us that they were each other's support system while in school.
