To battle the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Colorado's Governor Polis ordered public and private schools to close until April 17, 2020. This order is to begin on Monday, March 23, 2020.

This order suspends all in-person learning while directing the schools to provide alternative learning opportunities for their students.

Polis said in today's conference:

While it’s possible that schools may return this year, it’s increasingly unlikely.

Polis is also following the CDC's guidelines prohibiting gatherings of 10 people or more. This includes church gatherings, fairs, concerts, etc.

Polis also ordered all ski resorts to shut down until April 6.
