Give Blood and get a ticket to go to a JUCO game

Once again this year St. Mary’s Blood Center is giving away tickets to the annual JUCO World Series and all you have to do is give them a pint of blood. Each year St. Mary’s ask baseball fans to “Step up to the Plate” and donate the gift of life. Just stop by the Advanced Medicine Pavilion, across from St. Mary’s on Patterson, between 7am and 5:30pm Monday through Friday or on Saturdays from 7am to Noon and roll up your sleeve. The pint of blood you donate could save up to three lives and you get a JUCO World Series ticket.

As the nice weather rolls in each year the need for blood goes up in the Grand Valley. People become more active and accidents increase taxing the blood bank. Giving a pint of blood is very safe and easy and the life you save could be a life of someone you care about. I personal have donated over two gallons of blood and I have never gotten sick or had any issues, so stop by the blood center and give the gift of life and score a ticket to the annual JUCO World Series.
