Law enforcement agencies in Mesa County have made five arrests with charges of soliciting for child prostitution. 

Mesa County Law Enforcement agencies including the Grand Junction Police Department, Mesa County Sheriff's Office, the FBI, Colorado State Patrol, Fruita Police Department, the 21st Judicial District Attorney's Office, the Western Colorado Drug Task Force, and the MCSO and GJPD Street Crime Units, participated in the ninth annual Operation Cross Country. This initiative seeks those responsible for the sex trafficking of children.
