The Mesa County Fair is in full swing, and as always there is plenty of fun for the entire family, and here are five things you definitely don't want to miss at this year's fair.
The Mesa County Fair offers fun and games, rides, animals, concerts, shows, and some great fair food- and for a lot of people, this is the highlight of the summer. Take a look at these five fun things you won't want to miss. Some of the events require an extra ticket, while other events are included with your $7 general admission.

ANTIQUE TRACTOR PULL
Wednesday 7:30PMThe smell, the sound, the power of these tractors makes the antique tractor pull an entertaining and popular fair event. The tractors may be old, but they've got the power. Enjoy the Frontier Belles performing at 6:30 before the tractor pull. Gentlemen - and ladies - start your engines!

BLUEGRASS
Thursday 5:30PM-9PMWe love our bluegrass in Western Colorado and three local bands are being featured this night at the fair. Bone Tree, Destinee and the Sink Creek Band, and Stray Grass will delight the crowd.

BULL RIDING
Friday 7:00PMSecretly, we all want to ride a bull, but most of us can't, so we live out our fantasies through the people that ride bulls for a living. Admission is $17 in advance or $20 at the gate.

DEMOLITION DERBY
Saturday 6:30PMIt's the most popular event of the week, so you better come early to get your seat! $15 will get you a seat unless you're a senior citizen it's only $8. For children 12 and under it's $10.

CARNIVAL
DailyGames and rides galore will light up the western Colorado sky 2PM-11PM on Wednesday and Thursday, 11AM- Midnight on Friday and Saturday. Unlimited rides for $20 in advance or $30 at the gate.
